CAR Coalition Survey Shows Strong Support for Federal Vehicle Right-to-Repair Laws, Choice of Repair Facilities

The CAR Coalition, the group of independent automotive parts, management and repair companies, associations, and insurers, released a new survey that it says demonstrates strong support for federal vehicle right-to-repair legislation.

The new survey comes as lawmakers are scheduled to hold a hearing on right- to-repair issues on Tuesday, July 18th, in the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet. The Coalition believes that the survey highlights the need for the SMART (H.R. 1707) and REPAIR (H.R. 906) Acts.
