PartsTrader launches AI platform to manage parts ordering

PartsTrader says it has launched a next-generation, AI-enabled parts procurement platform in response to marketplace challenges, fueled by extensive input from collision repairers, as well as collaborative engagement with repairers, insurers, and suppliers.
Called Orderly, the platform manages the parts ordering process from initial request/estimate to delivery and reconciliation, PartsTrader told Repairer Driven News.
“While the PartsTrader Marketplace focuses on competitive sourcing and price transparency, Orderly goes further by managing the entire workflow,” stated a PartsTrader spokesperson in an email to RDN. “Orderly combines the best of Marketplace—competitive sourcing and pricing—with end-to-end workflow management in a single platform.
PartsTrader says Orderly aims to solve the following market conditions/challenges:
-
- “Fragmented ordering processes: Fragmented, analogue processes, multiple systems, and frequent inaccuracies.
- “Lack of a unified digital system for parts procurement: Inability to manage the end-to-end parts procurement workflow, resulting in inconsistent execution.
- “Administrative overload: High labor costs tied to managing parts orders and follow-ups. Repair shops [are] increasingly professionalizing operations by eliminating outdated processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
- “Stricter requirements: Insurers require auditability, adding complexity for repairers. With rising repair complexity. Orderly was built to reduce friction, accelerate cycle times, and improve accuracy, ultimately benefiting repairers, insurers, and suppliers.”
When asked how Orderly relates to industry discussions about platforms creating sub-economies and margin impact, PartsTrader said the platform is designed with controls and transparency to prevent the creation of sub-economies.
“Orderly is about workflow simplification and operational efficiency, helping repairers meet obligations faster, insurers maintain confidence in compliance, and suppliers streamline fulfillment — without disrupting pricing integrity or creating artificial sub-economies,” PartsTrader said. “Orderly operates on real-time pricing and availability, across a large network and across all part types, ensuring choice and accuracy at the moment parts are sourced. All transactions are logged, and audit trails are maintained for compliance.”
PartsTrader also said Orderly doesn’t alter MSRP or pricing structures.
“Pricing integrity and transparency remain with suppliers and insurers as it operates real-time pricing and availability, ensuring accuracy at the moment parts are quoted/sourced,” PartsTrader said. “The platform provides choice and simply facilitates the ordering process across its large network of suppliers within established agreements.”
When asked how Orderly supports profit dollars over profit margin, PartsTrader stated it enables repairers to complete more jobs efficiently, increasing total profit dollars, with a focus on throughput and operational efficiency.
Orderly cannot be manipulated by the end-user via design controls and transparency to prevent misuse, according to PartsTrader.
“All transactions are logged, and audit trails are maintained for compliance,” PartsTrader said.
“Orderly uses AI to support real-time decision-making by recommending accurate, cost-effective, and compliant part selections. It also flags potential issues, such as delays or incorrect parts, before they disrupt workflow. While this is just the starting point, our use of AI will continue to evolve to further improve accuracy and efficiency over time.”
